When Jakson finished building his new villa, he wanted an address sign that visitors could easily recognize—but he did not want an ordinary house number plate. As a passionate owl lover, he imagined an engraved metal plaque combining his villa address with a detailed owl design.

The lighting was not intended to replace practical entrance lighting. Instead, it became a decorative feature that strengthened the owl theme and made the design more memorable after dark.

Flat text is excellent for displaying information, but dimensional relief can give a custom plaque much more personality.
For Jakson’s design, an embossed plaque approach allowed the owl’s feathers, eyebrows, beak, claws and surrounding branches to stand above the background.
